It Can’t Be That Friggin’ Hard Podcast
Yep, I’ve been at it again, nattering away to another mover and shaker in the health & wellness world. Ashleigh Mythen is an Australian nutritionist who runs ‘It Can’t Be That Friggin Hard’ website & podcast, on top of helping her clients achieve their health dreams (busy lady, I know!). We had such an easy chat (it was hard to tell it was even an interview) about all sorts of fun things, like:
- the ins and outs of managing a chronic illness on a daily basis,
- why I write,
- the social aspects of a chronic illness, including how to balance being a productive human with being unwell,
- our mutual love of tea,
- my 3 daily essentials for health & wellness, and
- of course my Doctor Who fandom came up!
One of the constant themes in our chat was how its so vital to make your own rules, goals and boundaries for your life. There’s an over-abundance of health, wellness & life information out there thanks to the internet. Most of it, however, won’t be relevant to you as an individual human. You have your own biology, likes, preferences and desires, so the life you create should reflect those. Living this way has certainly made me happier and healthier!
