2015 – the year of the feminine
2015 – I could never have anticipated a year like this.
The year started with some massive medical upheaval, as I mentioned in this post, and has continued with so much learning, discovery and the presence of new things in my world. Its taken me away from blogging (though I do hope you’ve been saying hi over on Facebook & Instagram!), and the break was something I truly needed.
The most challenging and unexpected part of this year has been how I’ve connected with the feminine. I’ve been working on having a natural menstrual cycle, something I’ve never had before in my life. I’ve had to learn how to understand my body in a way I’ve never done before. I’ve been understanding and following the flow and changes in life. I’ve also been developing relationships with some wonderful friends (family, really). Coming off the pill has been a huge part of my year – I’ve had to learn to be an adult female, but without the physically female part of me being suppressed (I talk about this in part two of this post).
Drawing inwards to find the right way. For me.
Now, I feel I have so much to share with you all, and it will all come out, in time.
So keep an eye on this blog and your inboxes as I share the very important lessons I’ve learned this year about trusting myself, being an advocate, the idea of normal, and how to find your own version of healthy.
